1. Is the house completely private?

Yes! When you book Quinta do Muro, the house, the garden and the swimming pool are for the exclusive use of you and your group. We want you to feel truly at home, with all the privacy that the Douro region offers.

2. How does the wine tasting work?

We don’t want this to be just a formal tasting. As we are based on a working vineyard, we invite you to discover the ‘terroir’, stroll amongst the vines and understand what makes our wine special. We can organise bespoke tastings tailored to your interests.

3. Is the location easily accessible?

We are about a 15-minute drive from Peso da Régua. The route offers stunning views, but we always recommend travelling by car (or transfer) so that you have the freedom to explore the area and pop out for a quick shop.

4. Is the swimming pool open all year round?

The swimming pool is open during the high season and in the sunnier months (usually from May to October). Nothing beats the feeling of taking a dip with the Douro as a backdrop!
